What is your background?
Before starting Gravity Marketing, I was the Director of New Media at a $50M publicly traded television production and media broadcast company. In that role, I garnered years of conversion-based Internet marketing experience, responsible for generating traffic and revenue through SEO and paid lead generation, conversion optimization and membership retention. Before that, I was their Executive Producer managing a team of talented television Producers creating commercials, television branding spots and short form programming.
Prior to that I traveled the world for a year, shooting video, taking photos and writing about some of the world’s most exciting and remote travel destinations. The result of that work was a website called WiredNomad.com which won a coveted SXSW Award in 2003.
I also spent 3 years working for Warren Miller Films, perhaps the most recognized maker of ski films in the world, based right here in Boulder.
Dan’s background in film as a producer are evident in his ability to solve problems and remove roadblocks on the fly. Whenever I throw a problem at Dan he has an uncanny ability to figure out a way to solve the problem.

Where do you serve clients?

What do you do when you’re not working?
First and foremost, I’m a family man and when I’m not working, can usually be found entertaining my three year old, reading her stories at the library, playing at the park and spending Saturday mornings with her and her mom at the Boulder Farmer’s Market.
I’m also a musician and music lover and try to practice guitar every day. I’m consider myself a lover of good food and wine and have been known to whip up a great meal on command. As an all around geek, I like to tinker with things, take them apart fix them or repurpose them. I also love to travel and have been to over 300 cities all over the world. Now that I have a family with a little one, we don’t travel to as many far off places, but we still try to get out to some of our favorite destinations in Colorado.
